HIGH-OUTPUT PROTECTION

Stop Guessing from Voltage Alone

Lithium batteries hold voltage differently from lead-acid batteries. This display reads BMS data directly, giving you clearer battery status than a basic voltage meter.

HIGH-OUTPUT PROTECTION

Know How Much Runtime Is Left

The display shows estimated remaining time based on battery data, helping you decide whether to keep driving, return, or recharge.

HIGH-OUTPUT PROTECTION

Stable RS485 Wired Communication

Unlike wireless-only monitoring, RS485 gives the display a stable wired connection to the battery BMS for real-time dashboard data.

Touch Control for Supported BMS Functions

When supported by the connected BMS, the display lets you turn charging or discharging on and off directly from the screen.

Charge Switch
Enable or disable charging when needed.
Discharge Switch
Control battery output when supported by the BMS.

FAQs

Still have questions?
Find more information in our FAQ.

Q1: What does the RS485 Touch Display actually show?

A: The RS485 Touch Display works like a dashboard battery monitor for compatible lithium battery systems. It can show key battery data such as SOC, total voltage, real-time current, temperature, remaining runtime, capacity, cycle count, BMS status, and individual cell voltage.

Instead of guessing from a basic voltage meter, you can check real battery information directly from the screen while using your golf cart, utility cart, RV, or other compatible lithium power system.

Q2: Can I see each cell’s voltage on the display?

A: Yes, when supported by the connected BMS, the display can show individual cell voltage data. This is one of the biggest advantages over a basic battery gauge.

Cell voltage information helps you better understand the battery’s internal balance. A small voltage difference between cells is usually normal, while a large difference may indicate that the battery needs full charging, balancing, inspection, or service.

Q3: Does it show how much runtime is left?

A: Yes, the display can show estimated remaining operating time based on battery data reported by the BMS. This helps you quickly understand whether you can keep driving, continue using the battery, or should return and recharge.

The remaining time is dynamic, so it may change depending on your actual load, driving style, current draw, terrain, and battery condition. It is more useful than only seeing a percentage because it gives the user a more practical idea of how long the battery can still run.

Q4: Can I control charging and discharging from the screen?

A: Yes, when the connected BMS supports this function, the touch display can control charge and discharge switches directly from the screen.

For example, you may be able to turn charging on or off, or enable/disable battery output through the display. Final control behavior depends on the battery BMS. The display is a monitoring and control interface, not a replacement for the BMS, fuse, circuit breaker, main switch, or emergency stop device.

Q5: What batteries is this display compatible with?

A: This display is designed for compatible lithium battery systems with RS485 communication. It supports a 10–90V DC operating range and is suitable for many 36V, 48V, and 72V lithium battery applications, including golf carts, utility carts, low-speed vehicles, RV battery systems, and marine house battery systems.

Compatibility depends on the BMS protocol, connector wiring, and battery model. A matching plug does not always guarantee communication compatibility. Before purchase, confirm that your battery supports the correct RS485 protocol and 4-pin wiring connection.
